Creating a new card without Enter

Quite often I create a new card but miss to press enter because I just using the mouse to move to another area. Unfortunately I loose the entire already entered content, which is quite frustrating. As soon as I click somewhere else the card should become persistent.

Actually, the app is supposed to save text as soon as you leave the card in any way (ESC, Enter or clicking elsewhere).
It is a known bug that it sometimes does not and we are working on it. In fact I think I just managed to pinpoint it, maybe you can confirm:
When you create new cards via
- Add-Button in the toolbar or via
- ctrl+shift+click (or drag) or
- by clicking the transparent "ghost" cards or
- by creating a child via tab
... text is saved correctly.
Only when a new card is created after submitting the last one with enter, an them the card is left without enter - then the last input gets lost – right?
(Saving every keystroke is not yet implemented but is also planned - we need to switch to another backend component for that though.)

yes, I can confirm this. As I usually only work with enter and tab this happened rather often to me. That's why I had turned off the option "show add card button" in my maps, but I turned it on now to remind me of this bug.

every single letter should be saved immediatly, enter should only create the next card. Most apps in this genre handle it this way, it's a common standard... it is so common that even after several brutal losses of text I have not internalized that Infinity maps handles it in a different way.
