I'd love to use this tool for wire-framing sites by creating them as an assembly of components, that means I'll be nesting a lot of cards.

If there is a mode to automatically stretch and collapse the cards to hug the content or stretch to the surrounding container, that'd make things super quick.
Bonus to automatically recognise and allow me to drag cards to a horizontal or vertical grid.

I found this old ticket of yours and a lot has changed since then.
E.g, in the ⋮-Menu, under "Reorganize" you find some options for automatically compacting your cards layout.
The "…deep" variant alway also descends down to the children and so on.
Concearning a grid: We do align all cards to a grid, but it may be too fine for you?
Maybe you want to play around with these things and give us some feedback if this works for you or what is still missing.

We have added some automatic growing of parent cards when you resize their children. Also directly adjacend cards resize their widths or heights together - does this already cover your need?
